Pit Crew is a real-time team racing-pit simulation where you and your teammates try to refit a race car.
As fast and cleanly as possible.
Pit Crew Game Overview
At the start of the game players split into teams or 2 or 3, each responsible for one car. All teams work simultaneously playing cards in the correct sequence to change tyres, refuel, and repair the engine before their car can re-enter the race.
Once a team finishes the repairs, they roll dice to move their car along the track ahead of other teams.
Mistakes or incorrect card sequences result in penalties that slow the car down or force retries.
How Do You Win?
After a set number of races, the team whose car has advanced the furthest along the track wins the game.
Main Mechanisms
Pit Crew relies on real-time coordination, pattern-matching (under pressure), and team play. Each player’s speed and precision contribute to the team’s overall success, while misplays directly hold the car back.
USP
The real-time chaos and simultaneous teamwork recreate that frantic energy of a real pit stop. It’s loud, fast, tense, and every second counts.
Theme
The racing pit-stop theme works extremely well. The moment you start replacing tyres and refuelling in real time, you feel like you’re racing against the clock in a pit lane.
Setup
Divide into teams, deal each team their car sheet and starting cards, set up the shared race track board, and you’re ready.
Components & Artwork
It’s a compact box with simple boards and cards, and a race-track board that clearly shows car progress.
Nothing flashy, but all functional and thematic enough to give that racing vibe.
Ease of Teaching
It’s fairly easy to explain: “do repairs fast and correct, then roll dice to race.” But the real-time chaos and pressure to coordinate make it harder for new groups until everyone’s on the same page.

Pit Stop Review
Positives
The real-time teamwork is a really fun experience.
Quick setup and short play sessions make it ideal as a filler or warm-up game.
Works well with larger groups and gets chaotic in the best way.
Negatives
Dependence on speed and coordination means it can fall flat if players aren’t synced, or a slow team drags the game down.
The real-time game play means cheaters can prosper.
Summary
Pit Crew is a fast, frantic, fun dive into motor racing.
